MEDICAL-ALERT NOTICE

Taylortech LLC provides medical-alert equipment and access to monitoring services. Taylortech LLC is not a hospital, healthcare provider, physician, ambulance service, law-enforcement agency, or government emergency-dispatch agency.

Our products and Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. They cannot prevent falls, injuries, illnesses, hospitalization, property damage, or death.

Medical-alert devices are intended to help users request assistance. They are not a replacement for calling 911 directly. If you are experiencing an emergency and can call 911, you should do so.

DO NOT USE CUSTOMER-SERVICE CONTACTS FOR EMERGENCIES

The telephone number, email address, mailing address, and contact forms listed on this website are for sales, billing, account administration, and customer support. They are not monitored as emergency-reporting channels.

In an emergency:

  • Press the help button on an active and properly functioning medical-alert device; or

  • Call 911 directly when possible.

Sending an email, leaving a voicemail, mailing a letter, or submitting a website contact form will not initiate an emergency response.

MONITORING AVAILABILITY

Active monitoring plans provide access to a monitoring center 24 hours a day, seven days a week, subject to the equipment, network, coverage, account, and service limitations explained in our Terms of Service.

Our published customer-service hours are different from monitoring-center availability.

DEVICE AND SERVICE LIMITATIONS

Medical-alert equipment and connected features may depend on functioning hardware, battery power, cellular coverage, GPS, internet services, third-party networks, monitoring providers, emergency contacts, and emergency-response agencies.

No device or service can guarantee that:

  • Every emergency or fall will be detected;

  • Every signal will be transmitted successfully;

  • The user’s precise location will be available;

  • Communication with the user will always be possible;

  • Emergency contacts will be available; or

  • Emergency responders will arrive within a particular time.

Automatic fall detection does not detect every fall and may generate an alert when no fall has occurred. Users should press the help button whenever possible.

Location information may be approximate, particularly inside buildings or in areas with limited cellular or GPS reception.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, prices, availability, photographs, and other website content accurate and current. However, information may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated details.

We may correct errors, update information, modify products or plans, or cancel an affected order when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
